Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV)
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."
In volleyball, there are moments when you have to go for it — a jump serve, a back-row attack, a risky dig. If you hesitate, you lose the point. You have to trust your training and commit.
Faith works the same way. It's not the absence of fear — it's the decision to trust God more than your fear. Leaning on your own understanding means trying to control everything. Trusting God means releasing control and following His lead.
God doesn't promise a clear view of the whole path. He promises to make it straight as you walk it. That's faith — one step at a time.
Lord, I choose to trust You today — even when I can't see the whole path. Help me to lean on You instead of my own understanding. Amen.
I block the lie that I need to have it all figured out before I move forward. I trust God with all my heart, and He will direct my steps.
Hebrews 11:1 (NIV)
"Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see."
