2 Timothy 3:16-17 (NIV)
"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."
Every team has a playbook. It tells you what to do in every situation — when to attack, when to defend, how to respond when things go wrong. A player who doesn't know the playbook is a liability.
The Bible is your spiritual playbook. It teaches you how to live. It corrects you when you go off course. It trains you for every situation you'll face. A Christian who doesn't read the Word is going into the game unprepared.
You don't have to read it perfectly. You just have to read it consistently. Open it. Let it speak.
God, give me a hunger for Your Word. Help me to read it, understand it, and live it — not just know it. Amen.
I block the lie that I don't have time for the Bible. God's Word is my playbook — and I will stay in it so I'm equipped for everything I face.
Psalm 119:105 (NIV)
"Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path."
