"He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God."
Fifty-two weeks. Fifty-two chances to silence the lies and say yes to God. Fifty-two opportunities to serve when it was hard, show up when it was inconvenient, and love when it cost you something.
This is what it all comes down to. Not a complicated theology. Not a long list of rules. Three things: act justly. Love mercy. Walk humbly with your God.
Shut up the excuses. Shut up the fear. Shut up the lies. And serve — with everything you have, for as long as you have it, for the One who gave it all for you.
This is not the end. This is just the beginning of the next year. The next season. The next chance to say yes.
Shut up. And serve.
Lord, thank You for this year. Thank You for every week, every challenge, every prayer. I give You the next year too. I shut up the lies — and I choose to serve. For Your glory. Forever. Amen.
I block every lie that has tried to stop me this year — the fear, the comparison, the shame, the excuses. I am done being silent. I shut up the lies and I serve.
