Matthew 6:9-10 (NIV)
"This, then, is how you should pray: 'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.'"
Prayer is not a religious ritual. It's a conversation with the God of the universe who actually wants to hear from you.
Jesus didn't give His disciples a formula — He gave them a framework. Worship. Surrender. Request. Confession. Protection. It's a conversation that covers everything.
In volleyball, communication wins games. The team that talks — "mine," "help," "got it" — is the team that stays together under pressure. Prayer is how you stay in communication with God under pressure. Don't go silent when things get hard. Talk to Him.
Father, teach me to pray — really pray. Not just recite words, but actually talk to You and listen for Your voice. Amen.
I block the lie that God doesn't hear my prayers or that prayer doesn't make a difference. God hears me — and prayer changes things.
1 John 5:14 (NIV)
"This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us."
