Hope

🏐Receive

Romans 15:13 (NIV)

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit."

🏐Set

Hope is not wishful thinking. Biblical hope is a confident expectation — a certainty about the future based on who God is and what He has promised.

In volleyball, hope is what keeps you fighting when you're down 0-2 in sets. It's what makes you believe the comeback is possible. It's what keeps you serving when the score doesn't look good.

God is the God of hope. Not the God of "maybe" or "we'll see." He fills you with joy and peace as you trust Him — and the overflow is hope that doesn't depend on your circumstances. That kind of hope changes everything.

🏐Attack

God of hope, fill me with joy and peace as I trust You. Let hope overflow from my life to everyone around me. Amen.

🏐Block

I block the lie that my circumstances determine my hope. My hope is in the God who never changes — and it overflows by the power of the Holy Spirit.

🏐Dig

Lamentations 3:24 (NIV)

"I say to myself, 'The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him.'"
